In early October, members of the PMI Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter Board attended the Project Management Institute (PMI)® Leadership Institute Meeting 2015—North America (LIM) and the PMI® Global Congress 2015—North America. Both events were in Orlando, FL.

  • The LIM afforded board members three days of inspiration, knowledge and networking as well as the opportunity to strengthen leadership skills, share experiences with more than 1,000 other volunteers, and hear the latest news and information about PMI®’s global initiatives. All of this with the ultimate objective of promoting our chapter’s success.
  • Peers from over 60 countries attended the Global Congress for three days of learning and networking aimed at building technical, leadership, and strategic and business management skills. With over 100 educational sessions, this was the largest global gathering of project, program, and portfolio management professionals.

Back at home, many volunteers have been working hard throughout the year on ideas brought forth by chapter members to provide an improved level of service to our members.

During this session, you will learn what’s happening with PMs around the world as well as hear a re-cap of our chapter’s successes this year.

2015 has been an important year for adding value to our members and we’re looking forward to an even stronger 2016!
