We are an Authorized Training Partner endorsed by the Project Management Institute (PMI®) to support the professional development needs of future or current Project Management Professionals (PMPs) and stakeholders in their pursuit of PMI® credentials. As an Authorized Training Partner, we deliver quality project management courses, including the PMP® Exam Preparation course, using licensed PMI® course materials. Solarity provides the highest quality training with courses and materials based on the most current version of The Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). Our trainers are certified through PMI’s Train-the-Trainer program to teach PMI® curriculum. Solarity trainers go beyond just teaching a class to be available to participants before, during, and long after the class. We also offer courses in Agile and business analysis as well as exam preparation courses that correspond to PMI’s certification in those topics (APC, PBA, DA, among others).
Project Management Professional Learning Series
Solarity, a HealthTech Solutions company, is pleased to partner with The University of Kentucky Gatton College of Business and Economics Executive Education Center to offer a professional learning series. This series has been designed by our experienced project managers for project managers (and aspiring project managers) to not only provide a solid foundation in both traditional/prescriptive project management and agile methodologies, but also equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to pass the Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification Exam.
This series is open to professionals from any industry and will be onsite at Gatton. Additionally, we utilize hands-on exercises during the series to reinforce learning in a fun, interactive environment. Project exercises will receive a kick-start to the creation of key real-world deliverables, as well as tools to plan and manage them effectively.
Who should participate?
- Beginning project managers, project coordinators, “accidental” project managers, and other team members who need to understand basic project management terminology and processes.
- Experienced project managers who would like to refresh their skills or learn agile techniques.
- Project Management Professionals (PMP)® who want to update their knowledge or those seeking to earn the PMP® Certification, by gaining the educational hours or Professional Development Units (PDUs) required for certification or renewal.
- Anyone who needs to perform project management (either traditional/predictive or agile) in their current job or would like to investigate project management as a career.
