Here’s the March 2014 version, which shows an increase in PMI® Membership. The number of current PMP® credential holders still leads the pack, continuing to exceed current membership. Interest in Agile continues to grow quickly. We don’t have any information yet on the new Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)® credential.
- PMI® membership is 447,006 – an overall increase of 8.5 percent over the prior 12 month period
- Total Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential holders: 605,909
- Total Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification holders: 24,789
- Total Program Management Professional (PgMP)® credential holders: 1,014
- Total PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® credential holders: 1,118
- Total PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)® credential holders: 2,638
- Total PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certification holders: 5,008
- Worldwide, there are 265 PMI® chapters, with a total chapter membership of 238,690
