PMI Bluegrass Chapter Meeting

PMI plans to launch the PMBOK® Guide Sixth Edition in the third quarter of 2017. The exposure draft is open for comment to any members of the public with an interest in project management until July 26, 5:00pm EDT.  The new PMBOK® Guide will feature several significant content enhancements, including:

  • Expanded coverage of Agile
  • Three introductory sections for each knowledge area – key concepts, trends & emerging practices, tailoring considerations
  • More emphasis on strategic and business knowledge
  • Information on the PMI Talent Triangle and the essential skills for success in today’s market.

During this session, we will explore the PMBOK® Guide – Sixth Edition and discuss how it will affect us as project managers.
