Bluegrass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (BGCAPP)
Parsons Corporation – Engineering, Construction, Design, Project Management
Rick Goetz, a Parsons vice president, became the Bechtel Parsons Blue Grass deputy project manager in October 2011. His duties include supporting the Project Manager in leading the joint venture systems contractor team with a focus on design, environmental, and operations aspects of the Blue Grass Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant.
Mr. Goetz brings more than 30 years of project and plant management experience to Bechtel Parsons. He previously served as project manager with Parsons for alternate fuels projects with Arizona Public Service and DOE Loan Guarantees. His focus is at the facilities was process startup and optimization. Special assignments included leading teams in acquisition and divestiture support.
Mr. Goetz holds a Master of Science degree in chemical engineering from Marshall University and a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University. He is a registered professional engineer and a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
