Prestress recognized its internal need for improved project management and created the position of Vice President of Project Management. A former Solarity student, Theo Scripps, PMP, was hired into this position.
Theo called Solarity for guidance in forming the project management processes.
Initially, Solarity introduced the Prestress project management team to best practices in project management. Solarity then identified existing processes as the starting point of improvement. Along the way, Solarity offered recommendations to create improved processes using different project management tools and techniques.
As a team, Solarity and Prestress determined alternate ways of measuring the successful outcomes for ROI. The tools and techniques used enabled new processes to be repeatable and became a part of Prestress Services operational process assets. Solarity continues to support Prestress in helping its staff attain their PMP® certification as well.
