Our organization is going through significant change and this class (Organizational Change & Transition) will be incredibly beneficial to help with that transition. I was hoping to learn techniques that would help me with my interactions, requests and projects related to generational changes in our organization. In the IT field, you have to know how to bridge generations...some of whom want the latest and greatest, others who can't function without email and a spreadsheet. My expectations were absolutely met. This class will be especially important in conjunction with the Best Practices in Project Management class. Having the same trainer for both classes (on back to back days) really made them flow well and intertwine. He had a high knowledge of the subject matter and also a very effective delivery of the information. I appreciated his candor and levity during class and he both listened well and responded accordingly to inquiries.
